Hi!

My name is Mitch and by some freak of nature you have stumbled upon my website. Well done you! As the three words above proclaim, I am an Actor, Presenter and Writer and I am based in Sydney, Australia.

My break into the entertainment world came last year when I made my way through 6000 entrants, 4 rounds of auditions and a mess of challenges to make it to the Top 20 in Channel [V]‘s Presenter Search. After battling against the others with interviews, impromptu to-camera pieces and on-the-spot music reviews I didn’t end up winning, but have used it as a jumping off point to explore any and all opportunities in the industry.

I am currently a host and producer on new Music/Youth show DJ Central which airs weekly on Foxtel’s Aurora Channel (ch.183). Artists interviewed so far include Hermitude, Dappled Cities, Tokyo Denmark Sweden and Bananas in Pyjamas (FOR REALZ) and I have covered such events as Mark Presents, the Marquee  Assembly Launch and the Stolichnaya ORGNL.TV launch.

I recently attended the ARIAs Red Carpet where I interviewed such artists and personalities as the Hilltop Hoods, Reece Mastin, Molly Meldrum, Ella Hooper, The Temper Trap, Nina Las Vegas and Bluejuice.

This year I am also a regular contributor for Channel [V]‘s website with reviews and articles.

Keeping myself busy I also regularly co-host a radio program on North Side 99.3FM and have a comedy podcast with fellow [V] rejectee Sam Taunton.

With ample experience in the theatre, a Bachelor of Creative Arts (Drama and Performance) degree and just the right amount of whimsy and pluck I am ready for the next step in my career, whatever it may be.
